GVCC Club Ride Start Locations
Anna's Bakery - 7018 Camino Real Marketplace, Goleta, by the theater. Anna's is normally the starting location for our monthly newcomers ride. Camino Real Marketplace is at Storke and Hollister, on the ocean side of the 101 freeway off the Storke/Glen Annie exit.
Java Station - 4447 Hollister Ave, Santa Barbara, 2 blocks west of the Hollister and Modoc junction.
Andree Clark Bird Refuge - Los Patos Way off of E. Cabrillo Blvd., Santa Barbara. It is the lake and parking lot about 2 miles east of the State St. and Cabrillo Blvd. intersection.
Shoreline Park - 1300 Block of Shoreline Drive, Santa Barbara. GVCC Ride parking and gathering occur in the western parking lot in the 1300 block (towards Goleta).
Fairview Starbuck's - 173 N. Fairview, Goleta, in the Fairview Shopping Center, next to Von's supermarket.
Tucker's Grove County Park - North Turnpike at the Cathedral Oaks junction, Goleta, by the park entrance.
Dolphin Fountain - Gather at the dolphin fountain at the junction of State St.and Cabrillo Blvd at Stearns Wharf.
Peet's - 3905 State St. #2, Santa Barbara, near southwest corner of La Cumbre, parking in rear or at 5 points.
Carpinteria High School - 4810 Foothill Rd, Carpinteria, in the frontparking lot.
Santa Barbara Mission - Riders gather at the southwest corner of the mission rose garden at Laguna St. and Plaza Rubio, Santa Barbara.
Solvang - Riders gather at the County Education Office at the corner of Hwy. 246 and Alamo Pintado on the east side of Solvang.
Bike Path Clean Up - normally at John and Steph's, 5071 D Rhoads Ave., Santa Barbara, near the junction with Walnut Lane. If driving, park on Rhoads by the swimming pool or large grassy area and walk in.
La Playa Stadium - Santa Barbara City College stadium across from the harbor near the junctionr of Loma Alta Dr. and Shoreline Dr., Santa Barbara.
Farren Road - at the western end of Calle Real, in Goleta. Farren Rd. goes up the hill one mile west of the juction of Calle Real and Cathedral Oaks. From the 101 freeway, take the Winchester exit and head west on Calle Real.
